International Hedge Fund looking for C# Developers (London and NYC)
I am currently representing a multi-strategy fund Hedge Fund who are based across London and New York.
They are looking to bring on 2 C# Developers (1 in London and 1 in New York). The preference is for permanent staff though a contractor would be considered.
The role will be to work on a multitude of development projects as currently there are only two developers in the US and one in London. The projects will range from Front Office Risk and Pricing Systems to Back Office Settlements and Trade Capture systems.
The successful candidates will have a Computer Science post grad education (or similar) from a red-brick or Ivy league University.
You will have circa 3-5 years experience with a core understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science coupled with a deep low level knowledge of C# and the .Net framework. You will need to have an excellent grasp of serverside, multi-threaded, real-time, highly distributed systems coupled with knowledge and experience with an SQL based database. F# would be beneficial as this is used at the company though this is not a pre-requisite.
Candidates do not need to come from finance though again this would be useful.
