Financial Controller

My clients are a leading fashion brand and are looking to recruit a Financial Controller. The purpose of the role will be to establish best practice accounting and control systems and ensuring the provision of accurate and timely management information to facilitate business performance .
• Prepare budget & forecast for all the business channels
• Roll forward &reforecast the business every month
• Supervise & ensure that Management accounts are prepared accurately &on timely manner.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and provide explanation behind the numbers
• Responsible for short term cash management
• Preparation of long term fund flow
• Prepare the statutory accounts & audit packs and be the point of contact with the auditors
• Prepare the financial statements
• Prepare the tax packs for PwC tax to carry out the computations
• Ensure proper controls and processes are in place to safeguard companies assets
• Prepare weekly Trading reports
• Analyse & follow the order books regularly
• Follow the shipments, invoicing &margin on a weekly basis
Analyse different cost &expenses – samples, operational expenses etc.
Knowledge skills and Experience:
Ready to Investigate all abnormalities
You will have strong business acumen and experience in commercial accounting.
You will have experience working with buying and merchandising teams.
You will have excellent communication skills.
Strong Excel knowledge is essential to macro level.
You will be used to liaising with non-finance teams such as Sales and Marketing.
Excellent data manipulation skills.
