My client a well respected Hedge Fund now require a highly motivated Systems Trading Developer to join there team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join one of the most respected Hedge Funds globally.

Responsibilities

• Assist and/or lead the coding, testing and management of the live trading of certain trading models
• Provide research and production support to Systems Trading Group Portfolio Managers
• Assist in project work to address operational and monitoring requirements
• Provide back-up support for the System Trading Group’s execution desk including ongoing development of trading screens, position reconciliation and exception reporting
• Assist in the implementation of 3rd party software
• Address ad hoc requirements and requests as and when needed

Job Requirements

• Strong academic background with a Bachelor or Master degree in a hard science
• 2-3 years of development experience
• Java & C++ programming skills
• SQL / general database experience
• Experience with financial products, including futures, FX, etc
• Knowledge and experience in math and statistics (preferred)
• Working knowledge of Unix systems
• Need to be flexible and able to adapt to new requirements and priorities
