Accounts Assistant

Austin Andrew is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a recognised custodian bank based in Central London. Our client is proud of their luxurious offices and respected name. This position is offered on a permanent basis with a salary of up to £28,000.
The successful candidate will be reporting to a manager or a Senior Accountant. Their duties will include undertaking bookkeeping services to a range of entities administered by our client. You will be setting individual targets and priorities, maintaining high standards of bookkeeping and service and giving, receiving and acting on feedback on individual performance. You will be expected to maintain the Tracker and any other ad hoc duties as deemed necessary.
The ideal candidate will either be qualified or working towards a relevant professional accounting qualification. Experience of working within Financial Services would be preferred. The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate an understanding of the transactions undertaken by entities administered by the relevant product area and show initiative and ability to complete files in accordance with procedure.
