Asset Management Business Support – Senior Associate; London; circa £55,000

My client, a top asset management firm with a tier 1 name, is looking to recruit a senior associate to support their COO in managing their daily business activities. In this position you will work closely with the COO and be responsible for the following:
Preparation of monthly and quarterly board packs for the fund companies
Assist the COO team and senior management in the production of presentations for key internal and external stakeholders
Taking responsibility for key business administration functions
Preparation of submissions for industry awards globally
Control the dealer counterparty on-boarding process, including arranging counterparty due diligence and ensuring all terms of business are properly collected and signed
• Project management of important front-to-back business priorities
The successful candidate for this position will most likely demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
• Previous experience in a large asset manager or hedge fund, ideally in a similar role
• A strong understanding of financial markets
• Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally at all levels
Be highly literate in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and working experience with third-party data systems, (e.g. Bloomberg & Lipper)
A strong educational background, ideally with a degree in Accounting, Economics or a financial/quantitative discipline
