This is an excellent opportunity to join a very reputable and market leading Fund. They invest in equities and equity linked products in the major markets of Europe, Asia & North America, with negligible involvement in emerging markets. Currently the team consists of 5 people including the manager. They are looking to hire due to an increase in number of funds managed, the launch of a new fund and number of trades processed. The team is a close knit and energetic team. The candidate will be carrying out reconciliations:

• Investigating cash recs
• Position recs
• Ensuring they are in line with prime brokers
• Dividend queries/recs
• Corporate action event notifications (instructing prime brokers to settle them)
• Dealing with post and prior value trade queries, liaising with traders and assisting with Management Information Reporting (NAV’s, P&L’s etc).


Requirements

• Finance oriented degree
• The successful candidate will have experience (12-18months) in either a Hedge fund /Prime Brokerage/Fund Administration environment, ideally in a small department where they have had exposure to several markets
• The candidate will be working the spectrum from booking of trade to the settlement (although our Prime brokers settle them, not us), so dealing with entire settlement cycle
• It would be an advantage to have experience related to Stock loans, fees, corporate actions, dividends, in as many product areas (options, equities, convertible bonds, FX and Futures etc).
• I.T. literate with a good working knowledge of Excel
• Exposure to Microsoft Access / VBA / Macros would be a plus but not essential
• Tradar and EzeCastle experience an advantage but not essential.
