My client, a leading electronic trading firm and market maker operating on numerous exchanges and electronic marketplaces in equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities, are currently looking to hire a team of trading analysts to join their highly successful London operation. The successful candidates will adopt the role of trading analysts, algorithmic traders that thoroughly understand today’s electronic markets. Successful candidates will receive a years training and mentorship to develop a comprehensive understanding of trade floor operations, and will become responsible for the improvement and ongoing design of the companies automated trading strategies, providing their own ideas to develop successful trading models.

Requirements:

• First class academic background
• MSc / PhD from a hard science program (Maths, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics etc)
• Programming experience in Java or C++
• Strong mathematical aptitude is required
• Excellent problem solving skills
