Fixed Income Macro Trader to Hedge Fund Analyst - Make the move to a leading Fund of Fund

This role is perfectly designed for someone with 2-5 years experience Trading/Managing Risk in Fixed Income Derivatives (Swaps/Fixed Income Options/Swaptions/MBS) who is looking for a career move to the FOF space (A very strong derivatives background is essential) Pure Vanilla Securities isn't enough experience.
The current Investment Committee are all previous traders giving them a more technical approach to making hedge fund investments and understanding complex strategies. This has been key to their ongoing success.
The Role:
The Strategy Analyst will:
• Sourcing new hedge fund investment ideas
• Due diligence analysis
• Subsequent monitoring of new and current hedge fund investments with the aim of doing periodic full reappraisal of the investment thesis
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Participation investment committee
• Sourcing new investment ideas
• Assisting due diligence analysis on hedge funds
• General research on the industry to help make investment decisions
• Building relationships with industry participants (e.g. prime brokers)
• Assisting monitoring of current and new investments
• Assisting full report writing in terms of due diligence documents and monitoring reports as well as other projects
• Helping with general tasks on research desk
