Operations Assistant for leading Hedge Fund - London (permanent)
Our client is a leading European Hedge Fund, focusing primarily on equities and equity linked products. Due to ongoing growth, a requirement has risen for an Operations Assistant to join their team in London.
The team covers a broad spectrum of duties from trade booking through to liaising with the Prime Brokers for settlement. The role is quite varied, and duties involve covering reconciliations, dividend queries, corporate action events, liaising with the Prime Brokers on the entire settlement cycle, assisting with Management Reporting including NAVs and P&Ls.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with some experience in an Operations role within Investment Management or Hedge Fund, who is eager to learn. The company is growing very rapidly and will offer enviable career prospects for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional academic background, and candidates with Economics or Finance related degrees from reputable universities will be highly sought after. Strong IT skills including Excel, VBA, Macros is also advantageous to have.
