This leading European venture capital firm who invest in early stage technology companies internationally and take an active role in supporting their growth are looking for an analyst / associate with a passion for technology and entrepreneurship to become a core member of our early stage investment team.
Analyst / Associate responsibilities
• Work with the technology investment team to evaluate and manage dealflow
• Conduct due diligence and in-depth research into specific investment opportunities
• Research areas of interest within technology sectors (e.g. cloud, SaaS, ecommerce, gaming, mobile)
• Represent the firm at industry events across Europe
The ideal candidate will have
• Graduated from a top tier university
• 2+ years experience with a leading tech company, management consultancy or investment bank
• Significant knowledge of the Internet and technology sectors
• Excellent academic record and strong analytical ability
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in European languages (German preferred) would be beneficial
• Entrepreneurial experience a plus
