Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for a Silverlight Developer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a $19 billion strong automated Hedge fund with performance figures of 28%.
The successful candidate will be developing internal risk sites and applications that allow my client to monitor internal trading. My client is the top of technology so expect nothing less than .NET 4.0, Silverlight 4, (already converting to 5) and top tier architecture. The internal sites you develop are key to the success of the company and very complex.
The client offers a bonus to all employees as a result of the fund’s performance from day 1.
The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. This is a role for techies, those who are motivated by the sharp end of technology and the possibility of making serious money doing something you are passionate about.
Applicants should possess strong software engineering skills, a logical approach to problem solving and be able to prioritise work under pressure.
Candidates MUST have:
An MSc/BSc in computing or mathematics
EXCELLENT Silverlight experience
Silverlight 4 experience
Experience developing websites
4 to 5 years commercial experience
ASP.NET
.NET
SQL Databases
A portfolio of demonstrable experience
This role is for candidates who have a deep understanding of code not just the ability to read the language, expectations are high so if you are not a serious developer, don’t waste your time. This company is an automated hedge fund so technology is its business.
