Compliance Associate Full-time

To support the EMEA compliance team in maintaining, reviewing and developing their processes and procedures in order to comply with regulatory requirements. This particular role will act as the primary Compliance business partner to the Marketing and RFP teams and will be the key point of contact for the business teams in relation to marketing activities.
Position Requirements
• To act as the primary Compliance point of contact for the Marketing and RFP teams
• Partner alongside the business providing advice and guidance to establish and maintain compliant business procedures and processes particularly in relation to marketing materials and activities
• Encourage a positive and pro-active compliance culture within the company with a business supportive professional approach
• Perform Compliance reviews of marketing material
• Assist the EMEA Compliance team with the compliance monitoring program and perform compliance monitoring and analysis as well as undertake appropriate reporting
• Assist the EMEA Compliance team to ensure that appropriate regulatory policies and procedures are in place and understood by business units.
• Ensure that all FSA regulatory reporting requirements are met
• Provide management information in order to prepare Board reports
• Bring to the attention of senior management any areas where there is perceived regulatory risk and work with senior management to resolve issues
• Maintain expertise on the company’s investment activities and assist in the analysis of proposed business initiatives from a risk based regulatory perspective
• Act as backup support to other EMEA Compliance team members when necessary (using appropriate systems such as Bloomberg)
Education/Experience
Relevant compliance experience within a financial services environment
Good knowledge of UK and European regulatory environment; knowledge of other global regulators is useful.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) and internet applications

Ability to interrogate systems to obtain information and run reports
Strong communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and be adaptable to change
