A great opportunity to join a Prop trading company in the West End has arisen and offers a different outlook to the busy day of a trader on the floor of a large institution.
My Client is a one man band trading several millions through his Prime Brokers within US and European DVP Equities. The opportunity is looking for an individual who is looking to remain within the middle office function who would like a quieter environment and a flexible working life.
With 30 day’s holiday on offer and the chance to work closely with a very well regarded individual with 20 years experience in trading equities, the one on one working environment may be just what you are looking for.
Requirements
You will be required to cover all settlements of trades and liaise with Prime Brokers and trading counterparties alike.
The individual needs to be not only experienced, but also creative in their outlook with additional responsibilities of creating and maintaining and [most likely Excel] spreadsheets for the maintenance of the trading history, as well as daily presentation of the clients existing trading positions as well as being responsible for carrying out banking transactions.
Trading up to 20 tickets on busy day’s will require the successful candidate to be on hand when required.
Aside from this, you will also be required to manage bookkeeping, manage the P&L for the end of year accounts.
Salary up to £55k plus 10-20% Discretionary Bonus.
