Fixed Income Sales/ marketing - Hedge Fund

My client is a large privately owned financial services group, headquartered in London with global operations across three main business activities:
My client is a large privately owned financial services group, headquartered in London with global operations across three main business activities:
•Asset Management - commodity and alternative asset hedge fund investment management with over US$2.0 bn of assets under management.
•Structured Products – arranging, structuring and dealing in bespoke structured notes and financial instruments upon all major asset classes.
•Commodities - cocoa and coffee origination and distribution, supplying many of the worlds leading chocolate and coffee manufacturers.
Continued growth in assets under management and the planned launch of a number of new funds including a Fixed Income Fund have created an exciting opportunity for a Hedge Fund Sales Executive to join the team.
Main Responsibilities:
-Responsible for marketing funds, the main focus being on the new Fixed Income Fund launch in Quarter 4 2011.
-Broadening the investor base
-Preparing and pitching fund launch presentations and liaising with existing and potential investors
-Working closely with the existing Sales and Marketing Executives and Directors
Skills & Experience
-5 years plus experience in a similar role within the alternative asset management industry
-Proven knowledge of our contacts within the hedge fund investor base in the Fixed Income market
-Experience in asset raising within the alternative asset sector with an extensive network of contacts with financial institutions, family offices and key investors
-Excellent PC skills using Excel, PowerPoint and Database administration
-Excellent organisation skills are essential
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to priorities work, meet tight deadlines and remain calm whilst
