An established Investment Manager with considerable assets in AUM is looking to add an Execution Trader to their team. The opportunity would suit someone with at least 2 years hedge fund execution experience.

The position requires a bright and energetic person to join their execution team. Our Client invests in multiple asset classes and implements a range of strategies across their Fund range. The ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial working environment is important.

Role responsibilities

• Trade execution of equities, equity swaps, futures, options, fx, fixed income; arrangement of stock loans and returns
• Arranging dividend enhancement of the portfolio
• Cash management/funding
• Managing currency exposure with hedges
• Accurate trade capture and order blotter keeping
• Maintain live P&L spreadsheets
• Building counterparty relationships

Desired skills & experience

• FSA registered, or IMC certificated to trade and execute
• At least 2 years’ experience in equity execution from a fund is essential
• A good general understanding of the financial marketplace and relevant experience on the buy side
• An understanding of hedging and foreign currency exposure
• Strong user of Bloomberg and Excel.
