A leading hedge fund is seeking a Management Information Analyst to join their Finance team based in Mayfair.
This is an exciting opportunity for motivated and highly committed individual who has a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. You must have a strong accounting background, excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all staff, from traders and portfolio managers through to operations professionals.
General
- You will take responsibility for preparation of monthly MI Packs for Executive Committee and business managers.
- Partnering with business managers to ensure relevant, informative MI and financial analysis is provided as required.
- Preparation of strategic plans, annual budget and regular monthly forecasting throughout the year.
- Responsibility for delivering month end close process, ensuring process is accurate and efficient.
- Preparing management information for business managers including monthly actual vs budget reporting.
Maintaining and reviewing the costing analysis maintained within the General Ledger.
- Working with the MI team to deliver profitability analysis for each trading desk.
Ideally you will be qualified accountant with appropriate management accounting and financial analysis knowledge. Likely to have a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience and a financial service background. A track record of working with mid-range general ledger applications would be a strong advantage
