A senior role with an established asset management firm
Our client is a major long only Fund Manager, managing in excess of $100 billion for institutional investors, pension funds, private individuals and other bodies. They operate globally and have consistently returned significant profits to investors.
They are now looking to add a Fund Manager to their emerging markets team, who will work on the selection and identification of equity investments for the Fund in broad emerging markets. This will (1) entail meeting with management, conducting fundamental analysis of companies, markets and sectors (2) execution of investment decisions and (3) portfolio management of investments, and making decisions with the Investment Committee on buying and selling trades.
We are interested in meeting candidates with a background as follows:
- Fund managers with other established asset management firms. We are happy to consider those from either long only or long short funds
- Strong emerging markets experience
- The successful candidate will probably offer at least five - ten years investment experience from a blue chip firm, and be able to demonstrate a track record of successful stock picking and selection.
