This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi billion dollar Credit Focused Global Hedge Fund. The role will play an instrumental part in the fund and work directly alongside the Head PM. Working as part of a small team, the role will give excellent exposure for learning and it is important that the chosen candidate will be flexible and have the ability to take on a diverse work remit.


The Role

• Trade entry and affirmation/confirmation and sell-side interaction
• Daily reporting/exposure to Portfolio Managers and ad hoc reporting/assistance to traders and analysts
• Production/monitoring of risk reporting and analysis, daily reporting
• Other middle office responsibilities and co-ordination all team members TA/Operations on-trade breaks, new products, counterparties, special projects, etc.
• Responsible for full trade process from trade entry to full operational flow.


The Candidate

• Finance Degree with 2:1 or above, CFA is a distinct advantage
• Essentail: 2-5years experience of working in a Hedge Fund/Asset Manager/Bank
• Product knowledge is essential for this role and the candidate should have a background in Fixed Income/Credit and also Risk exposure is preferred
• Excellent IT Skills including: MS Office – Excel to advanced level, Bloomberg, VBA and or Imagine is a bonus also
• Excellent organisational skills and highly self motivated
• Team player and adaptable/flexible for new tasks
• Ability to use initiative
• Good communicator.
