Snr Associate/Jnr VP - Hedge Fund

Our client is a $3 billion AUM, long-short equity hedge fund focused on the healthcare and consumer industries. We are assisting them in finding an exceptional individual (preferably from a Private Equity background) with a focus on the consumer and healthcare sectors.
Main responsibilities:
Monitoring positions in the global consumer space, including packaged food, household and personal products, cosmetics, non-alcoholic beverages, beer, spirits, luxury goods, and retail
Meetings with management teams, attending industry conferences, conducting channel checks and consultant calls
Building financial models and sensitivity analyses and engaging in discussions with sell-side analysts
Creating detailed written reports to present recommendations on both overvalued and undervalued equities to the fund’s portfolio managers
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years experience, ideally with some exposure to Private Equity, and have exceptional academics. Familiarity with the Consumer/Healthcare sector is an advantage, but not essential.
