Front End Web Developer

Using your design skills and flair for clean, light code, you’ll be designing and building websites, HTML emails banners and other online features. As Front End Web Developer you will:
Work with the development team to maintain, develop and build Shelter’s website and all other online outputs
Create and implement features to help us improve our advice services delivery online, attract and retain supporters and increase our online income streams
Optimise technical functionality and performance ad see that all of our e-communications meet the highest standards of accessibility and usability
Ensure integration with databases and online trading processes where necessary
Work closely with stakeholders and colleagues on various creative web projects and ensure plans and targets are met
You’ll need:
Technical expertise in CSS, HTML and Javascript,
A good knowledge of the principles and standards involved in user-centred design, usability and accessibility
A customer focused and results-driven approach and a flair for teamwork and building effective relationships and networks
The ability to manage a busy workload and deliver high quality work to deadline
