Client Service Representative

The role involves proactively supporting the dedicated regional Sales Teams in raising and retaining assets, as well as ensuring consistency in both internal and external communication. Collectively, the Client Services Team is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of RFPs, DDQs and the maintenance of consultant databases.
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build positive relationships with both external investors and internal teams and a dedicated attention to detail are required for this role.
Accountabilities:
• Maintaining and advancing the Client Services function to strengthen the Fund’s client facing competitive edge
• Responsibility for frequent client communication including performance reporting, account servicing, maintenance of client data and contact information within the Fund’s CRM database, the organisation and facilitation of client meetings and the timely response to general client queries and requests
• Active project management and the production of RFPs and DDQs
• Varied internal responsibilities supporting the Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product Management, Operations and Fund Administration Teams
• Client support throughout subscription and redemption processes.
Candidate Requirements
Specific technical expertise, knowledge and/or experience required for the role
Essential
• Degree-level education in a relevant discipline and very strong written English; excellent academic record 1st or 2:1
• Initiative, professionalism and strong team ethic, and the ability to prioritise and manage internal and external client requests and deadlines
• Ability to communicate and build strong relationships effectively at all levels, both with their clients and with internal teams; and
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Advantageous
• Sound understanding of financial products and the alternative investment industry;
• At least two years experience within funds management or a financial institution in a client facing role
• Relevant languages; and
• FSA Approved Person status (or similar registration)
